Former Maryland Poet Laureate reads his own poems and those of his favorite poets.
Michael Collier is professor of English at the University of Maryland, College Park, and director of the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference. He is the author of five books of poetry, including The Ledge (2000), nominated for the National Book Critics Circle Award and Los Angeles Times Book Prize. His most recent collection is Dark Wild Realm.
He is also the editor of three anthologies. Collier is a recipient of fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts.
